At Surface Enhancement Company we not only offer a limited lifetime warranty, but we provide you with the best quality materials and finishes to ensure that you never have to use this warranty. With our optional moisture vapor barrier base coats and our standard high wear polyurethane finish coat, we protect your floor, better than any of our competitors, against moisture related failures, chemical attack, scratches, and tire staining. We go the extra mile to give you the best floor possible, not just a fast in and out installation with a flimsy warranty.
SURFACE ENHANCEMENT COMPANY LLC
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY – CONCRETE FLOOR COATING SYSTEMS
Surface Enhancement Company LLC (“Company”) warrants to the original purchaser (“Customer”) that its professionally installed concrete floor coating systems will be free from defects in workmanship and material failure, specifically peeling, delamination, or loss of adhesion, under normal residential use for the lifetime of the installation at the original property location.
1. Warranty Coverage
This Limited Lifetime Warranty covers:
- Peeling or flaking of the coating system
- Delamination from properly prepared concrete substrates
- Adhesion failure due to defects in installation or materials
If a covered defect occurs, the Company will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the affected area, or
- Reapply the coating system to the defective portion at no cost to the Customer
2. Warranty Term
- This warranty is valid for as long as the original Customer owns the property where the coating was installed.
- This warranty is non-transferable.
3. Conditions of Warranty
This warranty is valid only if:
- The coating system was installed by Surface Enhancement Company LLC
- The Customer has paid in full for the installation
- The surface is used under normal residential conditions
- The Customer follows reasonable care and maintenance practices
4. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage due to structural movement, cracks, or shifting of the concrete substrate
- Moisture vapor transmission or hydrostatic pressure issues originating beneath the slab
- Abuse, misuse, or neglect (including impact damage, dragging heavy equipment, etc.)
- Chemical damage from harsh or corrosive substances
- Tire staining, hot tire pickup (unless explicitly specified in contract), or discoloration
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dulling, or minor surface imperfections
- Damage caused by acts of God (flooding, fire, earthquakes, etc.)
- Commercial or industrial use unless otherwise specified in writing
5. Repairs
- Warranty repairs will be scheduled at the Company’s convenience.
- Repairs may result in slight color or texture variations due to the nature of coating systems.
- The warranty is limited to the original installation area only.
6. Limitation of Liability
- This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective areas only.
- Surface Enhancement Company LLC is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use or inconvenience.
7. Claim Process
To submit a warranty claim:
- Contact Surface Enhancement Company LLC
- Provide proof of purchase and description of the issue
- Allow the Company to inspect the installation
8. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire warranty agreement and supersedes all prior discussions or representations. No other warranties, expressed or implied, are provided unless in writing.
